I always thought Richie Havens did one of the sweetest versions of "Just Like A Woman," humane, not angry. This version comes from the Bobfest, the tribute concert to Bob Dylan on the occasion of his 30th year in the business, roughly 20 years ago.

A little more Bruce
I've been in Arizona 32 years now, and I still haven't left Jersey. Good or bad thing? Listen to the Big Man's ghost wail.

Bob & Bruce (originally titled "Bob Dylan Playlist")
Apparently, the video I originally posted here is no longer available. Since I abhor a vacuum, I've found a video that fills the bill in a different way. Thanks for visiting Popmuse!

Scaputones Music launch
I got tired of letting my music sit in boxes in the living room. I've written and recorded somewhere close to 100 songs, but aside from a close circle of friends, no one knows it.
I don't say this as if this was the greatest thing since sliced bread, but because what's the point of creating this stuff just to sit at home?
Auditioning for "The Voice" made me realize there are no shortcuts. If you want to get on that show, your best shot is to build your own platform and have them come calling for you.
So I've taken the first baby steps. I've launched Scaputones Music as my little company, and I'm putting my tunes up at MySpace, which has set up a platform to make it easy for guys like me to get their music heard outside their living room. So please check out myspace.com/scaputones for the music. If you'd like copies of any tune, email me at scaputo@yahoo.com and I'll attach an mp3 for you.
Now, I've got to go practice and write a few more.
